Increased use of renewable energy can create jobs, increase economic and political security, reduce the effects of
global warming, and improve environmental quality and public health. The current Administration is taking no leadership
on this issue. Fortunately, state-level initiatives, and public and private organizations are working to decrease the
use of fossil fuels in favor of renewable sources.
